Actually, I totally forgot about it and found it on my iPod last week. I was deathly sick with absolutely no voice for like 3 days back in March. And me trying to sing this Edward Sharpe song was just too funny not to record.

I just got home from spending a few days at a cabin at Bear Lake with my extended family.

this weekend i had a sad realization. i'm moving out in 6 weeks. this beauty of a bedroom will no longer exist for me. yeah, i'll have a different room upstairs where i'll sleep when i come home. but this room has been my abode for 6 years! the most comfortable big bed of all time. my many movie posters filling the walls. twinkle lights. my life size johnny depp. a walk in closet. purple walls. i'm going to miss it.

the good news is i'll have to get rid of A TON of stuff before i move out. i have way too much and it'll be nice to cut down. also, my new roommate is so cool. you guys should meet her sometime.

because everything would look good as a polaroid.

pretending like we actually had film to put in that camera.

one day we will be able to afford it. we made some big plans.

we also bought some post-it notes and drove to cailey's house to borrow a pen.

saw a vivid double rainbow and drove to the end of it.

watched parts of 3 documentaries.

Flipper.

I took swimming lessons for probably 5 years and I never was good at treading water.

I saw Elijah Wood tread in the movie Flipper one day, and all that changed.

I tried treading water Elijah-style.

I was a pro. I'd been doing it wrong the whole time.

Movies. They're good for more than just entertainment. That's all.

it's the hot time of year.

summer has been good to me. i have officially been working at my job for one month and i've gotten two saweet paychecks. i like that boy and he treats me like a princess. i have been reading harry potter books and listening to enya, bon iver, and edward sharpe nonstop. i watched ryan reynolds be a super hero. i got dirty feet from playing barefoot in the grass and have slept in a fort. i almost pulled an all nighter and have eaten a lot of otter pops; only the green ones. i went to a rodeo and drove in a jeep. i chalked the bk and hiked to a waterfall.

my days have been busy.

they have been good too.

and i'm going to the mountains to hang out at a lake for the rest of this week.

oh hallelujah. let's stop time for a while.
