lilacs (?)

We have the sweetest wall of lilacs growing outside our apartment door.
these are lilacs ... right? Obviously I need to brush up on my herbology.

Life right now consists of me doing random video coloring and watercolor jobs whilst looking for a consistent job and Shae studying like all the time for the DAT. He's the most diligent person I have ever met.

I just got back from a vacation in DC, which I'll post about soon,
And spring is continuing to be my favorite season.

thanks for the quote RL

Working on calligraphy and being kinder to myself.
ALSO I'm going to be opening a shop soon because I guess people want my watercolor/gouache/calligraphy stuff and they need a place to see it all.
So that's fun! Stay tuned.

FFMC

All I really care to do tonight is listen to the Far From the Madding Crowd soundtrack because WOW. Luckily I can do that while I finish my last homework assignments EVER.

Image from my summer visit to San Francisco. Kind of looks like where Troy swims out right? Ehh? Right?

spring 2

Then one day our view became amazing.

As if a job title and salary are the sole measure of human worth.

I found this so relevant to me, and so important to keep in mind.

spring

Do you think winter is over yet...?
The ducks and the blossoming trees are promising.

This weekend we celebrated Shae's birthday with donuts,
we stayed up till like 2am talking about Italy,
watched general conference (and I'm already like let's get those talks transcribed, people!!),
and I passed a kidney stone. (that part wasn't that great).

...

"I have learned that in God's plan of happiness, we are not so much looking for someone perfect but for a person with whom, throughout a lifetime, we can join efforts to create a loving, lasting and more perfect relationship.

To all, married or single, I say: let the pure love of Christ fill your heart. Whatever problems you family, marriage, or relationships face -- and whatever you must do to solve them -- the beginning and the end of the solution is charity, the pure love of Christ. "Charity never faileth." It is true for saving marriages! It is true for saving families!" - Dieter F. Uchtdorf
