i don't know. it's just a pretty good day today.

We sent the Kingsford Ski Edit we made to the Utah High School Film Festival.

And it won second place in the video soup category! Not bad at all.

We even got a fancy shmancy plaque/certificate so it's all official.

I feel pretty good about that.

burning bridge

One of the coolest things since I got a missionary high five out a car window happened today.

Keetch, Dillon, Cam, and I were doing a radio show during second period. We were talking about Gandolfo's and how wonderful it was, when Gandolfo himself called us and told us we could all have free sandwiches.

Actually, we sort of called the restaurant and told them to listen to KPGR, then we praised them on the radio for 5 minutes, and then a guy (who wasn't really Gandolfo) called in and told us we could all have free sandwiches if we brought them a recording of the show. So we spent most of 3rd period in total bliss eating free sandwiches at Gandi's.

I love those kind sandwich-making souls that listen to local radio stations when high school kids tell them to.

I had never touched a real live missionary before.

Ever read 1000 Awesome Things?
It's really, well, awesome.

Today, a few things happened that deserve to be on the list of 1000 awesome things.

{A song came on that I didn't think I knew. But somehow I knew every single word. Or rather, my subconcious knew all the words. And I sang it all. And I knew when the key change was. Weird, but awesome.

{I wore my mocassins. Oh man, I love my mocassins. They make me feel like a champion. Awesome.

{Kirsten, Eryn, Kassie, and I were driving down the road when we passed a few missionaries walking on the side walk. I rolled down the window and waved at them and yelled "Wahoo! Missionaries!" because that's what we do around here. Then, one of them ran in to the road and up to the car and gave me a high five as we drove past. Let me tell you, getting a high five at 25 miles per hour is dang awesome.

Let's be awesome every day.

let's talk about stop motion.

I'm going on a trip. I'll be gone for about 3 days.

I know you guys are all going to {not} really miss me and my blog, so here's a video for you to watch every day that I'm gone. You can watch one each day if you're one of those "space-out-opening-your-birthday-presents-all-day" kind of people. Or you can watch them all on one day for a large dose of stop-action awesomeness.

Wednesday - OK Go. They are basically the masters of cool music video dances. This is mostly time lapse. But it sorta looks like stop-motion at times.

Thursday - I don't think this really qualifies as stop action either. But maybe it's like the derivative of stop action. Yep, derivative. I took AP calculus.

Friday - And I discovered these guys during the previews of The Last Airbender. A true stop-motion video. Actually, they may have sold their souls to the stop-motion gods.



I'm dying to make a stop action video, if you haven't noticed.
