not too shabby

Yesterday was one of the best days I've had in like 2 weeks. I slept in, we got a new old car which I love with all my heart, washed the new old car, got a twist ice cream cone from Macey's, got a homecoming dress, played at Nicole's house, got a picture of a New York license plate, watched cool stuff on food network, and did zero homework. Not bad at all. I can feel fall coming on. I'm excited; I am a big supporter of fall/winter clothes. One of the only things I don't like about fall is how yucky our yard looks. On friday, my mom pruned all the bushes, so our once-exotic yard now looks like a barren wasteland. I'm not really a fan of brown grass. It's ok, the coats, jackets, sweaters, and scarves make up for it.

The hassle of headlights..

So while i was driving Jessie home last night, i looked down at my mileage, and screamed [sure scared jessie]. i had been waiting for my mileage to get to 100,000 because i wanted to take a picture of it for my mission brother. but when i looked down, it was already past 100,000. so i pulled over and took a picture. about 30 seconds after i started driving again, i see flashing police lights in my rearview mirror. fannntastic. so i pull over and roll down my window, and he comes to talk to me and asks me a few questions. then he tells me to turn my headlight switch thing one more turn.. i forgot to turn my headlights back on after i pulled over to take a picture of my dash. it was the worst. he was nice though and said to just remember to keep them on, because usually it's the drunkens that forget to turn them on. being pulled over is not a favorite. jessie had a good laugh about it though.

After school today I went to Nicole's house.

She didn't let me watch one of my favorite shows (which I hadn't seen forever).

Full House. Yeeeah boy.

This show is basically the essence of the late 80's to the early 90's.

I love how all of her songs are a totally unique story.
Most artists always write their songs about love or relationships or what have you.
Regina is so unique, and her songs make me glad.

today is the last day of summer vacation.

here's what i'm not excited for:

getting up before the crack of dawn for early seminary,

homework,

ACT,

lame sauce teachers/boring classes (i predict US history with kurtz will be the pits),

driving in snow,

wanting to stay up late, but not being able to,

those few days at the end of the term when i want to hide in a cave,

AP calculus

lunch time,

cool classes,

seeing all my friends every day

whew, cons outweigh the pros...

oh well, a jedi's gotta do what a jedi's gotta do.

i think this summer was a great one though!

kirsten and i watched the dark knight last night.

i forgot how flippin awesome that movie is.
