chuck

Chuck is probably one of my favorite shows
and
he's my newest fictional crush.
Since I don't have enough of those.

Roan: The first rule of being a spy: never fall in love.
Chuck: Well, I guess I'm not much of a spy.

Oh, he's real cute and stuff.

harry potter world: part 1

Let me start by saying this:
There are a few things in this world that I am so passionate about, that I find it hard to talk about them to other people. I feel like I can't express how much I love something or how much it's a part of me. So I like to talk about those things, but at the same time I don't, because I feel like people don't understand.
Harry Potter is one of them. This was a complete dream come true. And I can't find the right words to tell you how I felt when I was there.

I would also like to say this:
I cry like once a year. It's a pretty big deal if I can get a couple of tears out.

Here was my very first view of Hogsmeade:
I began to weep.
Seriously. Tears were streaming down my face. Every time I saw something new, I would just lose it. Seeing this place come to life was unreal. Unreal, I tell you. I got so emotional.
Kind of embarrassing really; I couldn't talk because I was crying for the first few hours we were there.

My expectations for this place were incredibly high,
but this was even better than I imagined it would be.

my feet are buried in the sand, and there's a breeze.

That ocean is my favorite ocean.
I spent 4 days playing in that 86 degree water.

winners get prizes.

i got it. woo!

a cyber hug:
Thanks Hilary. I've admired her from afar since my first days as a sophomore. Her blog is dang cute. She's so crafty and creative. And she is so happy all the time. And she has the most beautiful hair in the whole world.

seven pieces of information about myself:

...how about the seven things i would make into horcruxes?
1. my blankie
2. my old pink razr
3. my cat
4. my plaid keds
5. my original copy of harry potter and the sorcerer's stone
6. the van

also, splash of thought. because lisa is exactly like me. except cooler.

home again home again

my trip was seriously awesome. i could probably do 200 posts about it.
maybe i will.
but i'll mix them in with normal posts, so you don't get bored.
here's a sneak peek:

also, taking a wee break from blogging while i'm gone.

love and stuff

Think of the purest, most all-consuming love you can imagine. Now multiply that love by an infinite amount - That is the measure of God's love for you. God does not look on the outward appearance. I believe that He doesn't care one bit if we live in a castle or a cottage, if we are handsome or homely, if we are famous or forgotten. Though we are incomplete, God loves us completely. Though we are imperfect, He loves us perfectly. Though we may feel lost and without compass, God's love encompasses us completely.

-Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Would you rather...

...eat a whole package of cat food
(we're talking that moist, whisker-lickin' chunky bits of meat in seafood flavored gravy)
or
go without make-up for a whole school year?
me? i think i could choke down the kitty chow.
