We be thuggin'

We learned a lot about ourselves today.

First of all, being "gangsta" is not as easy or as fun as it looks. I guess there's a reason we were born in Utah County. Also, caucasian.

We are making a satirical movie about Rap for english. So we wore baggy clothes, chains, and walked with swagga for about four hours. It was fun at first. But, by the end of the day, we all wanted to rip our grills off. And each other's heads. Music became more of a nuisance than ever before; I wanted to scrape my polluted brain out of my skull, like carving a pumpkin. I think I'm going to listen to classical music and Taylor Swift for the rest of my days.

"What would you do if I keyed your car?"
"I'd key your face."

"At least I got to rip my pants off today."

"Uh, is that a comb attached to your swimsuit?"

"I am really... gangstered out."

Lesson learned number 2: there is no graffiti in this town. Actually, in the county. We drove from AF to Provo looking for one square yard of graffiti to rap in front of, but it was all for naught. Where are all the taggers these days!?

This is going to be my first and last rap video. Also, the last time I write my name with money signs.

"I just really need some alone time." -Elf

Dear Wikipedia,
Thank you for writing these articles about me.
Your Friend, Jessie

Introversion
Introversion is "the state of or tendency toward being wholly or predominantyly concerned with and interested in one's own mental life." Introverts tend to be more reserved and less outspoken in large groups. They often take pleasure in solitary activities such as reading, writing, drawing, and using computers. The archetypal artist, writer, sculptor, engineer, composer, and inventor are all highly introverted. An introvert is likely to enjoy time spent alone and find less reward in time spent with large groups of people, though they tend to enjoy interactions with close friends. They prefer to concentrate on a single activity at a time and like to observe situations vefore they participate. Introverts are easily overwhelmed by too much stimulation from social gatherings and engagement. They are more analytical before speaking.

Whites: The Peacekeepers
Whites truly believe that with patience all things come to those who wait. The problem is that they are sometimes too content with sitting around waiting. They seek contentment more than power, money or, for that matter, more than friends. They are happy having one or two good friends and one or two hobbies. In fact, they tend to have only one hobby at a time. Instead of trying to carry on with two hobbies, they will drop one to take on another. Having two is too much effort. Their only demands from life are the things that make them feel comfortable. That feeling fosters their need to feel good inside.
Whites are kind, considerate, patient and accepting. They are tactful, because they don’t want to create confrontation or rock the boat too much. Not rocking the boat is also revealed in Whites through their strength to self-regulate. Controlling their own behavior is a natural strength and this precludes impulsivity. To the rest of us, they offer a clear perspective that is objective and factual. They are excellent listeners, taking what is said sequentially, understanding why it is said, what it is going to take to deal with any problematic situations, and what they can do to help. They simply hear the facts, making no judgments on what is being said. In essence, they are virtually devoid of ego. They are good at constructing thoughts that did not exist before, just from careful listening and taking time to think things through.
White Limitations Whites don’t commonly share what they are seeing, feeling or understanding. When they have a conflict, they won’t show it. Like a duck, they are paddling violently underwater, but on the surface, they appear calm and comfortable.
Whites can be unwilling to set goals. They are generally very content with the way things are. If you try to force them to set goals, they may reply, “I don’t know where I’m going to be in a month. How can I possibly set goals?” Better yet, they will write down the goals to get you off of their back, but have no intention of following through with them. They resist working at someone else’s pace.
Even though Whites seem ambivalent about most things, they can be very self-deprecating. They are very generous when it comes to accepting others’ limitations, but will be disapproving of themselves. On the flip side, they can also become uncomfortable when receiving public praise and fanfare.

"what a beautiful lawn"

Remember the "Meek for a Week" episode of Arthur?
It's the one where Francine has to be nice.
Brain compares her to that bottle of orange soda.
He thinks if she goes too long, her head is going to pop off.
That's how I feel.
I'm not trying to be meek for a week.
But, I have so much stuff going on.
I feel like all this ish is building inside me.
I'm afraid I'm going to blow up.

You can watch the Arthur clip here.

Sometimes...

... I think I might be 5 years old.

Evidence:
  • I carried my blankie around all morning while I was getting ready
  • I accidentally wore my shirt backwards
  • The only thing that has sounded good to eat is string cheese
  • I have a crush on my teacher
  • All I feel like doing is taking a video rest
Yeah, that's enough support.

Weekend

February 12th:
Nicole's and my one year anniversary of being friends. Friendiversary, if you will.

We stopped by the Serendipity sign for old time's sake. (don't look at the monster girl on the right).

We ate at Zupa's. This is my favorite thing to consume. Panini, babe.

Oops, I just drooled a little bit.

What night isn't complete without a driveby past your biology teacher's house?

I'm glad Van Dijk is in love and doesn't care who knows it.

February 13th:

Sweethearts.

That's me and my date Hunter. We busted some serious moves at the dance.

Here was a nice surprise. There was a bag with my name on it containing this little guy on my porch. It made for an interesting doorstep scene.

I'm working on a name. Thank you, mysterious bringer of fish.

My Valentines Day goal was almost completed this year.
I just really want a nice boquet of carnations. Orange ones.
My corsage had a couple pink carnations on it.
So close.
Maybe next year.

Facebook pet peeve #3

Advertisements on the right hand side of the page.

This one literally made me jump:

Uhhh what is that...?
I don't really have anything witty to say about this pet peeve of mine.
The above graphic scared the wit right out of me.

Today... bites.

Here are some random movie quotes that sum up how I feel today:

“I just need some alone time.” – Buddy, Elf

“Does anyone feel nauseous?”
“I feel nauseous.”
”Melman, you always feel nauseous.” – Gloria, Melman, Madagascar

“I have to do this.” – Malfoy, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

“I need an attitude adjustment!” – Lily, Princess Diaries

“Oh, I’m so tahrd.” – Edna, Hairspray

“Now clean this place up. It’s a stye.” – Stepmother, Cinderella

“You’re not very pretty, and you’re not very bright!” – Fiona, Cinderella Story

I told you most Tuesdays are terrible.
Third term always kicks me in the pants.

mama palin.

Enough said.

Fancy Feast.

Lately, there has been a lot of this going on:
Dear Fish,
I fear you may become kitty chow very soon.
Nice knowing you.

It makes me happy.

I recorded something that made me happy every day in January:

Easy cheese, Risk, making lists, transferring out of Mr. Kurtz's class, home videos, headbands, naps, being with funny people, my Les Mis sweatshirt, winning monopoly, romantic comedies, Sherlock Holmes!, beating Lone Peak at basketball, panini, my birthday, knitting, sneezing, no school, friends, watching basketball, birthday cake, fridays, movies, The Beatles, good hair days, Flight of the Hamsters, the people I do math with, Les Miserables!, "Alta Football!", puffy sleeves and vests, plaid clothing.

*idea stolen from my seester, Kylie.

Triplets.

My grandpa is a fusion of Dieter F. Uchtdorf and George Clooney.
He's pretty much the best looking grandpa around.
