I spent the day filming little kiddos for a student council video.

(I'm thinking I'm basically a member of student council by now. Kidding... but really.)

Now I just have to spend the day tomorrow editing up a storm.

something i forgot to tell you yesterday

one time i was seven years old and i was at mountain view high school watching a concert.
i didn't really feel so good while we were there... and I threw up. I threw up spaghettios.

guess what i happened to have for lunch yesterday.

i didn't throw them up this time.

my brain is exploding a little bit.

Right now, I'm loving this knit hat. Too bad my sister just barely told me she had it a couple days ago. I could have been wearing it all winter! Ah well.

I saw my second grade teacher today and talked to her for a minute. Senora Huerta. She was one of my favorite teachers, and she seemed really impressed when I told her I passed the AP spanish test. The Emperor's New Groove came out the year I was in second grade. She let us watch it in class because we were learning about the incan empire. Elementary school is a pretty sweet deal.

It is impossible not to laugh while watching the "baby laughing while ripping paper" youtube video. Oh man. That was exactly what I needed today.

This week has been fweaking busy. And is just getting busier. Tomorrow I have a golf tournament. And the weather man says to expect snow. Woo. Golfing in the snow is not so great. Then immediately after my tournament I have to hurry and come home, shower, get cute, and go to the senior dinner dance. Oh, and I have to manage not to fail government too.

Whew. End of term is crazy. Wish me luck guys.

if i was a room

i saw this room here a while ago, and after looking at it for a few seconds, i was like holy hannah.

if i was a room, this is exactly what i would look like.

here's why:

1. grey walls. grey is one of my favorite colors. weird, i know. i wear something grey everyday i think. plus, i think it's a great wall color.

2. that plaid blanket on the chair. i'm definitely a plaid kind of girl.

3. giant map on the wall. i have a weird map/globe fettish. i can look at them for hours. and i anticipate have many of them in my future home.

4. the mustard rug on the wood floors. first of all, wood floors are my favorite. and then yellow is one of my favorite colors too.

5. lotsa lotsa books. i love books. i love how they look and smell and feel. oh, and i like reading them too.

6. a comfortable amount of clutter. because i'm not a naturally spic-and-span kind of person. i like places that look lived in and comfortable.

7. pretty natural light.

8. that sweet red chair.

9. dishes on the coffee table. i have a thing for cute dishes.

10. a really cozy looking down comforter.

i'm not exactly sure if a stuffed pheasant defines me. maybe it does.

spinach

you know those spinach smoothies?

i made one today and it was dang good.

all the superheroes are drinking them nowadays.

I kind of just threw a bunch of fruit, ice, and spinach in the blender

but here is a recipe i found on this blog:

An Orange, cut into fourths

A Banana

5 or 6 Strawberries

A cup or handful of frozen peaches
