one year i want my husband and i to dress up like margot and richie tenenbaum for halloween.

it would be saweet.

and hike through tons of big trees

and skip rocks and ride in a boat on a pretty lake

and listen to coldplay and cat stevens because they sound good in when you're in nature

and look at stars

I'd really like to marry someone who will play and sing songs with me.

We will jam all day long.

Guitar would be good.

Then we could be like these guys.

I'd also like him to get the spiders

and be good at directions

and reach things up on the high shelves.

that's what I want

I read it on this blog today. I liked it too much

to not post it.

I want someone who will be monogamous and nice to his mother. And I want someone who likes musicals, but knows to just shut his mouth when I'm watching LOST. And I want someone who thinks being really into cars is lame. I want someone who will actually empty the dishwasher instead of just taking out forks as needed - like I do. I want someone with clean hands and feet and beefy forearms, like a Disney prince. And I want him to genuinely like me. Even when I'm old. And that's what I want.

I'm a big believer in cardigans. I think putting a sweater over your wedding dress when it gets a little chilly is super cute.
